Carbone Lawyers welcomes Lia Tarquinio to the Personal Injury team. Lia practices in all aspects of Workcover, TAC, Medical Negligence and Institutional Abuse. 

Lia’s qualifications include a Certificate IV in Justice from Kangan Institute, a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Working in worker’s compensation law for eight years, Lia has achieved numerous successful outcomes in the Magistrates Court, the County Court, and the Supreme Court.

For Lia, helping restore someone’s dignity and stability is the most rewarding part of being a lawyer. With clients often feeling powerless and overwhelmed, Lia takes great pride in advocating for their rights and feels an immense sense of purpose in being the voice for those who have been wronged.

Lia’s clients would describe her as compassionate, persistent and tenacious. In her spare time, Lia enjoys dancing, keeping fit at the gym and Muay Thai.
