Carbone Lawyers welcomes Erin Monsalve Fear to the firm. In 2021, Erin completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Wollongong and did her Legal Traineeship with Carbone Lawyers. She was admitted as a lawyer in September 2023.

As part of the Carbone Lawyers team, Erin works across matters concerning Medical Negligence, Public Liability, Commercial law, Institutional Abuse, TAC and WorkCover.

Erin’s career highlights include settling a medical negligence claim for $900K, settling a Public Liability claim on the first day of trial and working to achieve successful outcomes in both the Court of Appeal and the High Court of Australia.

For Erin, the most rewarding aspect of being a lawyer is seeing the difference made to clients’ lives by facilitating their access to the legal system. Providing assistance, guidance and support, Erin is regarded by her clients as empathetic, detail-oriented and determined to obtain the best result.

Erin enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
