Dr Muhammad Khan graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Khyber Medical College in 2004 and relocated to the United Kingdom in 2005. He got enrolled in the General Practice Training programme and has been working as a general practitioner since 2006.
Dr Khan has experience of working in one of the best training institutes in Glasgow and completed his General Practice training in 2013. He obtained a membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the Royal College of General Practitioners UK as well.
Muhammad also obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Society for Public Health UK in 2016 and attained a Diploma in Occupational Medicine from the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in London in Nov 2017. He is currently completing a Masters course in Diabetes from Queen Elizabeth University in Edinburgh.
Dr Khan has a special interest in Occupational Health and extensive experience with Workcover, TAC and Public Liability and is open to taking on new patients.
Dr Khan develops long-lasting relations with his patients and providing them an unrivalled level of care. He carefully listens to the patient’s concerns and collaboratively develops a strategy to move forward with their treatment. He earned a lot of respect and appreciation from his colleagues as well as his patients due to his excellent professional acumen.
Muhammad relocated to Australia few years ago and received his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. His areas of special interest are Travel Medicine, Weight Management, Internal Medicine, Diabetes Management, Mental Health Disorders. He is also interested in Aboriginal Health, Aged Care, Children’s Health and Men’s Health. He provides consultations for Immunisation and Travel Vaccinations as well as for performing surgical procedures and biopsies
